Staff Spotlight: Tom O'Donnell, LPCC Therapist, NACBT Certified Hypnotherapist

Tom is an LPCC Therapist, NACBT Certified Hypnotherapist and has been in the fields of Mental Health and Substance Use, Abuse, and Addiction for over 15 years; working with both throughout his career. He was one of the very first Valor employees as he joined us on January 2, 2019.

Staff Spotlight: Michael Williams, CDCA

Michael Williams has been working at Valor for 5 months as a Case Manager and CDCA.

Most people don't know this, but Michael has been a licensed Minister for about 10 years. He also sings, mentors young kids and teaches Sunday School.

I asked Michael what is on his wish list for Valor, to which he replied:

Peyton has been with Valor since July 2018 and has an impressive list of credentials:

MS.Ed, LPC, LCDC III, is EMDR Trained, an Expressive Art Therapist, a Dancing Mindfulness Affiliate and is also in the process of a 300 hour certification of MindBody Therapy! 

 Peyton is also an incredibly talented artist! 

Staff Spotlight: Nicole Thompson, Behavioral Health Technician CDCA

Nicole graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Shortly after that, she received a certificate for Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) and has been working on CEUs ever since. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and go shopping.

Valor Recovery Center's September Staff Spotlight is Quiana Dodson! 

Quiana's beautiful smiling face is usually the first thing our clients see. 

Quiana is a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) and has been working at Valor since February. 
She has worked in Pediatrics and Family Practice and has a background in Graphic Design as well!! (Super Cool!)

Valor Recovery Centers would like to Congratulate our August Staff Spotlight . . . Jim Hlinka !!!

Jim was just promoted to Interim Lead Behavioral Health Tech and has been working at Valor Recovery since January, 2019. 

He currently possesses a C.D.C.A. II and has completed his B.S.A.S (Health and Human Services) with a major in Criminal Justice; emphasis in the legal process and a Minor in Psychology. He is currently working towards his L.C.D.C. III.

Congratulations to RHONDA PIERCE, our very first STAFF SPOTLIGHT:

Rhonda has been a nurse since 2007, and has been working as a Clinical Nurse at Valor Recovery Center since January, 2019.

I had the pleasure of chatting with her about her role here at Valor. When asked what her best advice for any new hires coming in, she replied: "Be patient. Ask for help if you need it and remember that it is not just you, we are a team and are here to help each other."
