Effective detoxification can be the first step of the treatment process. It is an important and necessary part of dealing with addiction.

Valor Recovery Center’s Ambulatory (Outpatient) Detoxification Program, a safe and effective alternative to inpatient detox, is a unique outpatient model that provides many of the benefits of inpatient detoxification but in a setting that is more cost-effective, less restrictive, and has the advantage of minimal disruption to your normal day-to-day life.

Services are delivered at our site by trained clinicians who provide a medically supervised evaluation and detoxification. You can expect to spend approximately four to five days, 3 to 4 hours per day, of medically supervised outpatient treatment which allows your system to safely rid itself of the toxic substance. To ensure your comfort, medication is customized for you depending on the substance of choice, severity of use, and other medications you are currently taking.

Services include assessment and patient observation, medical history, monitoring of vital signs, treatment of withdrawal symptoms, substance abuse counselor consultation, and referrals for ongoing addiction and substance abuse treatment.

Our Outpatient Detox Treatment operates as a stand-alone treatment or as an entry point to other outpatient treatment alternatives.

Following detoxification, you will be referred to an appropriate level of care depending on your specific needs.
