We would like to thank all our guests, and the media, who joined us for the 'cutting of the ribbon', refreshments, and relaxation at our ribbon cutting celebration on Friday, June 7.

We are honored to be a part of the solution to the addiction epidemic, and look forward to helping as many people as we can achieve successful and sustainable recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.

Valor’s owner, James M. Conti, Sr., founded Valor Recovery Center because he was compelled to get involved in helping Youngstown area communities lessen the impact of the addiction epidemic. “Having worked for over 45 years in the health care industry and recognizing the crisis in our community, I felt like I needed to do something about it . . . to save lives and help people combat their addictions.” said Mr. Conti. “It is important to have high-quality service, a successful client-based program, and a highly-qualified staff committed to giving the best care possible.”

Valor Recovery Center is now able to provide a full continuum of services from their 33-bed Austintown facility.  Services include residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient, medication-assisted treatment, ambulatory withdrawal management, case management, individual counseling, group counseling, family programming, holistic wellness, and fitness and recovery.

“At Valor Recovery Center we believe that every person’s addiction and circumstances are unique, and that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a full life free from the ravages of addiction,” stated Misty Long, Valor’s Executive Director. “We look forward to creating positive advancement toward eradicating the epidemic-level disease of addiction in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties.”
